Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

Not sure what “Relaxed timeline” is supposed to imply. I will say we have gotten better at development vs “up or out” over the past 2-3 years. You can still progress as quickly as you’re ready.
If Bain recently got raises they didn’t announce it at my (NA) office.
Mck is pushing a development over progression focus lately. So you will likely see longer times to EM and AP than previously. Though top performers can still rocket through at like 1.5yrs per role. It does mean average performers will have longer before encouraged to look for something else. But if you’re not on partner track then you don’t want to stick around beyond 1YOE as an EM anyway, has no incremental exit value.
EM designation is not determined by performance but by market supply and demand. This is obvious based on the fact that the DGL or review committee does not have any control over designation.
McKinsey doesn’t have a timeline for EM, unless you mean the time when you’re forced out because you couldn’t make it. Which is much longer than most people take to make EM.

Yes, but the average path to EM has been going up from around 2 to almost 2+8.
