I agree with much of the above on territory, timing and talent. That said, I always see the worst performing reps complain that “I don’t have good customers” or “I need more help to do….” or “the customers just aren’t buying what we are selling” and then you see that they don’t put in the work or don’t know how to improve their customers businesses w their product or services.

Anyone can hit their number every year but stuff does happen thats out of your control too. Last year my biggest deal died in commit when the customer was bought. Nothing I could do but killed one component of my attainment.

Partnerships need to use market sourcing for purposes of calculating NR withholding tax (though NJ doesn't even call this withholding anymore).

However, for purposes of calculating the NJ distributive share of income, you apply Gross Income Tax (personal income tax) rules, which is 3 factor and includes COP.

If I end up with 0% apportionment under GIT and 10% apportionment under CBT (withholding tax), the partnership pays tax upfront but NRs get 100% refund?

What are people's deciding factors between working for a Reseller vs Vendor?
