I'm currently working as a learning specialist/trainer for a large organization for the past 8 years, making a literal over $53,000. General Question I started tuition reimbursement last year in August. I since have an interview with another job that is paying a lot more. Recommendation for a tax person to help with complicated taxes - husband and I lived in NJ for part of 2021, he worked remotely for an nyc and then Long Island co., I worked in NJ and for a MA firm. I’m trying to break my lease. I have notified the management company of my intent to do so in writing. They are just refusing to respond and keep ignoring my follow-up emails. Do I have any recourse? Can they physically bar me from leaving?

PS: I have legal cause for being able to break the lease and I know that there is zero legal recourse they have.
