San Francisco, Bay area- first week of august ?
Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.

Filed for H1B extension, extension approved till aug-2024 (stamping not done), switched from tcs to infosys before stamping. I have new petition documents with me. Assuming infosys agrees to use my H1B, is there a possibility to file H1B transfer or reuse my visa.? Thanks

I’m an LA-born-and raised gal who went to school in Chicago, had an apt in SoMA area of SF, and is now living in greater NYC. Chicago all the way. When you’re young, NYC is fine, but I would not recommend NYC if you want to have a family and be stable.
Chicago. Way more affordable, way cleaner and way nicer people
Hobson’s choice. Denver.

All are out of my budget
None of the above. Broken cities, all. But fun to visit

All are vastly different. What do you like to do? What do you like to get involved in?

Lived in Chelsea for 3 years and now in SF for 1 year, quality of life is WAY higher in SF. Plus, it is definitely cheaper than manhattan, despite what some people say. Also, I believe that SF has the greatest per capita influence on the world economy and business in general
Granted, I'm about to be 30 and soon to be married, so my priorities have definitely shifted in SF's favor
