Why are you interested in getting away from SAP? Did you join SAP after Masters?

Before Master's but I couldn't get rid of it since they wouldn't hire me for other roles. I don't want to implement SAP for the rest of my career thats my main reason. Also there is no huge job market outside of consulting.

I did my MBA after MSEE. Moved from coding (Within consulting) to IT M&A. Try to find a path where your experience will be an asset.

Why do you think you can’t get an MBA? I have several friends who had a masters and still got an MBA.

If you’ve done some strategic work with SAP you could pivot into tech/it strat then maybe move into M&A to do something similar. Look at DDV at PwC.

Ahh ok. Well try and network. I did a similar switch when I first started but didn’t get a Master’s degree. Find time to talk to SMs and MDs in practices that you’re interested in. Help with RFPs and it will be a fast route to getting staffed elsewhere.

Hi fishes,

I am a strategy consulting enthusiast from a middle class family. Don't have the financial stability to take a loan for an MBA and hence had to drop some renouned admits this year (Think top IIM's) due to family circumstances. I still dream big and request you to provide some insights for my research:-
1) Average expected package of an associate
2) Average experience expected at ZS to get hired at associate (not BCN)
3) Good books to upskill and ace the consulting case interviews

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

Resume/LinkedIn question:

I am a senior student graduating in a couple of months. I am going to join Google this fall as a SWE. My previous work experience includes an internship at Google, and a summer spent working on open source (PostgreSQL) during Google Summer of Code. In addition to a lot of college coursework projects (CE major). Most of these projects are worth mentioning and they cover a diverse range of fields.

At what point should I drop coursework projects from my Resume/LinkedIn?
