Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

To the question of if this is the right tech to learn, sure, why not. They're all in the nice to have but not necessary category.
I'm skeptical of your pick for how to learn though. Product School to bring up technical skills seems like an odd choice. You seem like you're just starting out with dev type stuff, so all the coursework will be syntax-focused at this stage. There are tons of free and cheap resources out there for this kind of studying, without their very large price tag. Kind of skeptical of Product School even for product sense classes though--while I've heard the curriculum is good, I've also heard that placement afterwards is very very very bad.

You can make a project out of anything. Just pick a thing and do it. Course projects only stand out in that you have a deadline.
What do you need html/css/js for?
In my opinion It’s really driven by product (duh) and industry.
Like if you are pm for web dev that I can sort see benefits of knowing some js
Yeah. Why front end languages?
