Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

The CISSP will help land interviews to some extent but it won’t guarantee an offer as much as some people think. I would still recommend it but just keep in mind that it’s not the silver bullet that some people think it is.
I'm hoping the CISSP will get my resume noticed more and will get me more interview opportunities.
I respectfully disagree, GRC is not cybersecurity it's an audit function. Just because your compliant does not mean your organization is secure.
Well, nothing's guaranteed, of course. But that would establish your general cybersecurity expertise, so it's fair to say it would make you a more attractive candidate. I guess it's a good question whether it's worth the cost in money or time, but it does have value.

What country are you in?
Probably then. In my experience more heed is paid to it that side of the Atlantic
Wow u have so many certs I have 0 and I’m in that role
Yep, certs don't really mean all that much, but they can help with getting selected for interviews.
It will help you get past automated scanners and recruiters with s good cv
Also be prepared that if you passed cissp they will expect you to be able to show knowledge and insite at or above that level.
its amazing how many people have a lot of certs but cant apply it or dont understand the core concepts (they just focused passing the exam rather than mastery)
Imo if you have CISM and CISA there is limited benefit to CISSP. If your looking at TPM something in Product management or agile delivery would round your CV more.
A huge part of TPm is delivery and being able to work between product and delivery teams.
