Should I email one of the interviewers on the team for an update? I emailed the recruiter last week but it’s been radio silence. It’s been 2 weeks since the final interview.

Do you actually take the time to reject people after initial interviews? Or do you wait for the candidate to reach back out to you? I’ve noticed a lot of agencies don’t seem to follow up

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. I am still applying to new jobs but I was told it is impossible to move up the grade level now. Everyone is telling me to stick with the government. What are your thoughts?

BCG folks - my interview process was interrupted by the pandemic in the spring. Would you recommend reaching out to the recruiter to see if it is possible to restart the process now? Or are things still pretty frozen for experienced hires at the PL level?

I've been searching for a new job because I know I am underpaid. I have 12+ years of experience in the event industry and seven years in the Event Tech world. I interviewed with Netflix, Amazon, and Microsoft. I went through all the stages, but I was not selected. Any advice? I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

Now I am getting calls from EY GDS for interviews.

I am not sure if u should attend the interview or not at GDS.
When I shared this scenario with my EY IN HR, she said please don't attend it may create conflict and you may also get blacklisted.

EY GDS HR is like, you can attend the interview, there's no problem at all. We don't have such a policy. Please suggest what decision I should make.

Hello everyone, I recently got a job offer and I’am in the process of the background check. Do companies usually contact previous employers? If yes, should I inform my previous employers for a heads up?

A week or so ago, someone shared a stacked bar chart of each MBB/Big 4 firm that highlighted the percentage of consultants that say they work 40, 50, 60 hours etc a week at each firm. I have searched endlessly to find that chart but haven’t had any luck. Not even on google. Does anyone know the chart I’m referring to?
