Should someone from big 4 aim for T2 and then after a couple years only aim for MBB?

Hello everyone, I'm a cs grad student graduating in may making a career transition from mechanical eng to cs. I had an internship but its been hard to find a fulltime dev role. I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

Hi Everyone - I was hoping someone could throw some light on the kind of work trust and safety does. I see a lot of open roles - managers, senior strategists etc. I have a top 20 MBA and about 8 years of big 4 experience in consulting - would this be the right kind of role to get into? Or is it more engineering?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

I currently do planning system implementation at SC level. Quite technical stuff and less PMO. What are my future career possibilities from here onwards? Can I keep progressing in the standard ladder and keep doing implementations, or is it automatically going to end up becoming more are more sales oriented and less actual implementation work? If a Recruiter declines you or doesn’t choose to reach out, it is because the hiring team declined you, or you don’t have the experience. You will most likely not be considered for future roles because of this. When I see people giving advice to reach outside the Recruiter, it’s bad advice. Very rare is this a good idea.

Is a unique tax number (UTR) required to freelance in the UK? I have a T2 work visa and a residence permit as well as a local bank account. I have completed 8 months in the current org and my Notice Period is 90 Days.
If I resign and serve notice , my tenure at current workplace will be 11 months.
Should I work for one more month and resign ?
Or should I resign right away and serve 2 months notice period and buy out one months notice ?
