Smart to move into PM now from S&O? I’m currently an L6 S&O and contemplating a move to an L5 PM. It aligns more to work I like (building vs facilitating).

But am worried with all these PM layoffs and general market. Anyone who’s done this move? Any feedback?

Quick Question - Which one do you prefer?
1) Stay in the company where you are not liking the work culture (Skills not getting used & MicroManagement is poor) but offering Onsite and will try to match offer in hand package.
