A college classmate of mine has been fired 3x, laid off 1x, and had 6 PIPs. He survived it all and is doing well now.
The fact he blames managers and the economy is symptom in itself.
What’s the common thread here? Fix it
Go and get a sleep study done. I found out that I have sleep apnea and now that it’s treated I feel much better. Still only sleep 6.5 hrs a night but it’s much higher quality sleep
I want to get fired.
I get hired for these prestigious jobs but my time management skills and inability to handle limited sleep lead me to underperform...
What drives me to take a job for prestige? Chance at learning valuable skills and being boosted career wise. Honestly I was desperate for a job after I was fired from my last one. Bills were piling up and my career was stagnant. Now I feel like it’ll be impossible to find a decent job with having 2 dismissals back to back
It would not be the worst thing in the world to learn that this career is not for you. It's a demanding job that is unfair to work life balance.

I take trazodone almost every night. I know it’s not healthy and I really wish I could do without, but it’s better than not getting any sleep. Talk to a doctor/psychiatrist
