So I was an idiot and read the requirement’s to sit for the exam wrong, everything was approved except my transcript bc I had to complete another class. I completed the class and submitted the new transcript this morning. Should I even start studying for BEC or just wait till everything gets approved? I wanted to take it September 30th because I have a 2 week vacation scheduled the 1st 2 weeks of October. What is the likelihood of me being able to take the exam on the 30th?

It's my first month in a new job as Product Owner. I went from a company that digital product development was their secondary focus along with consultancy services, to a company that their only focus is the product. What do you think about working for a defense and space contractor? I currently work at a large space contractor and it’s awful. Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. Ive got three interviews coming up and l am wondering how I can improve my chances of getting an offer. Any ideas are welcome. I need a new job like yesterday.

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

Break in the middle is nice to refresh your mind. Sims actually seem lengthier but give you more leeway imo.

Taking FAR soon! Currently reviewing the book and wanted to see if y’all had any advice on what modules/sections to cover more then others? Been hearing Gov/NFP is a big one. Anyone care to share what the exam was like for them and what it mainly covered?

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?

Just took FAR for the fourth time today 😂 LOTS of not for profit questions and even sims were not for profit!!!!! Definitely more than 5-15% Becker said!!! I got like 60% was based on NFP!

Is BEC doable in 2.5 weeks while working full time - 40 hours? I plan on dedicating 3 hours each weekday and 12 hours each weekend day. I most likely will also have a bit of time during working hours.
