We had a co-ed shower. I think it’s less cultural and more about Dads of my generation being a lot more involved in everyday parenting than in previous generations.

Same with ours and agree with the generational point! The younger folks invited totally got it, the older folks were a little thrown off at first. We all enjoyed the co-ed experience!
We had a co-ed shower, but all of the showers I have attended have been female only. I’ve never heard of a separate one for men.
What do you want to do? There’s no right or wrong so you can do anything!
I had both a ladies only shower and a coed shower. My husband’s friends also did a diapers and beers day for him that was men only 😂
I've only ever seen women-only baby showers or co-ed, with co-ed becoming more normalized. That said, I think most men don't want to attend such an event, so the men who do attend are sparse.
Mine was co-ed invite, but only a few attended, being my dad, brother, and my best friend's husband.
I had my own baby shower and my husband had his own diaper party

We had a co-ed shower cuz that’s what we preferred and it was great cuz all our friends and family could see eachother.
Sure showers originated as women only but it’s your baby so you can do whatever works for you guys!

I had a co-ed shower and have only been to co-ed showers. My dad was kinda surprised to be invited because he thought it was a thing for just women, but that seems like an old school / traditional view that doesn’t seem that common where I am in a big city on the west coast.
Co-ed! I also heard from my African lady friends that baby showers are usually female only which was news to me! I dont have many friends at the same stage of life so much of the events ive seen were all family and so everyone in the family goes men/women kids all join
Never been to a co-ed shower. Usually it’s women only and then the dad and a few guys (granddads etc) go get beers during and they show up at the end to help carry stuff.
