Why do people say pay is higher client side? I make 120k. Whenever I check Glassdoor, non-agency places pay senior writers 70-80k. Does this kick in at higher levels? When? How?

I've been sitting on my savings for a while and want to put it to work for retirement savings.
Thinking of putting 70% into XGRO (global diversified ETF).
If this is for retirement (i.e. don't plan on touching it for the next 30ish years), does it matter if I throw all my savings in at once or should I be trying to DCA over next few weeks/months?
It's about 26k in total that I want to put into XGRO or some other diversified ETF.
