Hey! Considering negotiating my pay after 1 year of CT experience. In Florida my base is $29/hr. How much of a raise should I ask for (if they don’t automatically give one)? And should I wait to be a travel tech with another year of experience?

Can I afford a $1.5M primary residence with a ~$9,000 monthly payment after 20% down if my household monthly take home is ~$25,000 (with another $50k in annual bonus)? No debt other than monthly credit card bills. Am I being irresponsible? Will I struggle month to month?

Planning a one-week summer vacation to Yellowstone Park area. Family unit of 6, so need to rent a single, large SUV. Just looked at prices and the cheapest car available for 6 people with unlimited mileage is $3,500+. Makes the vacation almost not worth it. Can I still travel and get back into the country with no issues given that I still have a work visa (W1) on my passport? Not sure if my change of status nulls my current visa

On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

Just as I'm leaving from work to a planned roadtrip with friends this weekend, I get hit with an email from a partner requesting a draft of a deck by Sunday 5 pm. Wwyd? I'm still a new consultant btw
