Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.
Please help with embedded and prog ques for these interviews.
TIA. Please reply.

Here’s what you learn over time: you have to make the decision that makes sense for you. Whether it’s for money or mobility or industry or mental health or balance or all of the above.
Your company will go on without you. Leaving on good terms should keep the door open should you ever want to return.
Congrats on getting hired twice in a pandemic. You’re doing awesome.
People move all the time. Give them your two weeks notice, ensure you wrap up projects and leave on boarding docs for the next person and thank your team for everything! They’ll be okay
That loyalty you feel goes away after your first layoff. They'll be fine, congratulations on the promotion.
The connection you need isn’t to the agency itself but to the people you work with. In 99% of situations, they’ll react like normal people—happy for you and glad that they now have a connection they can reach out to at your new agency when it’s time for them to increase their own salary
Agree with all of the above. Staying at a job 10 months isn’t alarming at all.
No one cares if a low level PM leaves. Agencies are a revolving door. Generally, burning bridges is more about not being a jerk than switching jobs.
100% do what’s best for YOU. I’ve been been in this industry for many years and have tons of respect for folks who move on, level up and do what’s best for them. It’s not burning bridges, and if it’s seen that way then that place sucks. Just be a good human and you can’t go wrong. Best of luck.
Congrats! As everyone said, do what’s best for your career and take it! Just give them proper notice, offer to help and keep in touch... that’s all you can do. Everyone expects you to move on, it’s just a job. Btw as a producer too who has moved abroad, yes it’s absolutely the dream 💭 Best of luck!
