I was in govt contracting and had three different companies in six years for the same role. It’s one entry on my resume.
I listed one section when I was ultimately hired by the client. I noted I was placed by the agency in the description.
This happened to me, and I count who I am working for on my resume. If it comes up in an interview I am happy to share but it seems duplicative to list it twice for the same work.
Pro
Need both companies on the resume, even if it's in one entry. Don't make it hard for the background check. Doesn't need to be 2 different sections.
