Marriott
I prefer Hilton. In my experience with staying at both corporate chains, I have always received a stellar and consistent experience with Hilton. They really take care of me. Even after being loyal to Marriott for years, I wasn’t getting the service I am getting from Hilton within just two years. Now SPG was a different matter.

Now that Starwood ia part of Marriott, I would go with Marriott. Starwood's level of service has always been consistent and innovative. It has been a while since I have stayed at a Hilton brand. Hilton is also good and they were my second choice to Starwood, but is is all a personal preference. Marriott's service is more limited and old fashion. The hotels are also more traditional. Starwood has more modern properties and better options abroad when you want to use points for personal travel.
Home2 suites by Hilton is the best thing to ever happen to me. You get a mini kitchen so you don’t have to constantly eat out.
Residence Inn by Marriott is basically the same concept lol
I believe that card does not charge you a percentage for international charges. You might want to double check. That makes it worth it for me.
I usually prefer hiltons. Found them to be a bit nicer.
I believe hilton has an easier fast track to diamond for corporate travelers, so it might be good to start with them and do a status match later on
Thanks for all your input fellas & ladies. I decided, Marriott going forward. Is it worth it to get their Bonvoy credit card? Anyone find hotel credit cards useful when traveling?
