Hi Fishes, Currently I am working in Kolkata for past 3 years. I am not a fan of the humid weather in Kolkata. Whenever I go out, its sweaty.. I have an opportunity to shift my workplace to Hyderabad. I want to know about Hyderabad weather month wise..

I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

Yes. Yes you are. You could theoretically, but man we’re here for the money. I’m in a pragmatic place in my life right now. I really want to go out and do do-gooder work. But right now, I’m trying to earn. Later in life when I have more experience and authority I think I can affect the world differently. If you do it early you likely have to give up a lot in terms of compensation. Is anyone else paying your bills? If not, probably doesn’t make sense man. Volunteer. I do. A ton. My family does it with me and honestly I’m glad it’s not my day job. It’s tough to see folks in bad situations. I’m glad to help. I just can’t handle it every day. Food for thought. I hope it helps.
Make money and then you can always switch gears and do good. Gotta do good by yourself and your family first though.
Not all MBA programs ignore the good of the community. Look for example at Pepperdine’s SEER Business Strategy that is taught as part of MBA and also as a Certification.
Many examples out there of profitable companies applying those principles !

Use your degree, money, time to make a positive impact, not shareholder’s money. If I were a shareholder, I wouldn’t want my employees to do anything to destroy value of my investment. You should only think about other stakeholders if that increases value for shareholders
