Is anyone finding it impossible to get a new job? I get interviews but not offers. I’ve probably gone to at least 7 interviews at this point with no luck.

EY 1- talks a lot but nobody is listening.
DB 1 - Barclays 1’s little brother
JPM 1 - goldman 1 less attractive friend
Managing Director - is probably an associate at best
McKinsey 1 - wears tight colored maroon pants
Pwc 1 - made it to UBC video interview and got extremely nervous

Hi I posted here last week. I interviewed last week for C1 and saw that they recently reposted the position on Thursday (I interviewed that same week on Tuesday). Should I be worried now that it’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything?

My friend have cleared Tata Elxsi interview 5 months back and received her offer letter. Still now she haven’t recvd a joining letter. Couple of other friends are also facing similar issue.
Does anyone have any update on this?
Tried mailing to the HR and to their help desk. No response.
Its really disappointing. Even if they are not able to onboard candidates now, the least they can do is aknowledge and respond to the queries.
Hope someone can give more insight onto this issue.

I’m interviewing for jobs that would essentially lead to a minor career pivot. I have gotten to 4 straight final rounds (4-5 interviews and a presentation for each company) to be told I’m second choice in favor of someone with more experience. I’m losing my mind and so tired of interviewing tbh. What can I do differently, or do I just need to chill out and wait for a company to say yes?

Have an interview for product lead in amazon. The range on glassdoor is very wide. The recruiter is asking for my comp expectations. Any ideas on what’s typical base and total comp?

This is the 2nd company that rejected me after the 2nd round of interviews. Latest one left a bitter taste as I felt I was doing good during the interview process and felt I was really a good fit. On to the next one.

Do any of you stay with your current job bc of the flexibility you’ve earned over the years? I’ve been at the same company for ten years and am SO READY to make a change but I’m scared to give up the flexibility.

For example, my 3 and 1 year olds were home with me all week because daycare had to shut down. I did as much as I could, joined calls and met all deadlines but I also stepped away a lot during the day to pay attention to the kiddos. I’m scared if I go somewhere new this wouldnt be ok.

My experience is more focused in financial service and done few consumer products clients, but don't wanna do financial service anymore. The sr manager and partner interviewed me are all in financial service, does this mean I'm gonna be stuck in financial service again if I take the offer?

Hi everyone, does anyone know what to expect from KPMG Advisory Intern, Lighthouse - Data, Analytics & AI - Data Scientist and Modeler first round interview?

I interviewed for a role last week and followed up with the recruiter this week. The recruiter said the team is still working on finishing the final interviews before making a decision but if I have any competing offers or timeline issues, I should let her know.

Does this mean that they already have a decision on my interview and are just waiting to send out the rejects all together or is there still hope?

Should I take a test waiver for Georgetown PT with a 600 score if I have a 3.8 GPA from an above average state school in Finance & Information Systems and will have 4 YOE when applying - 1Tech at a Bank, 1 Consulting, 2 Corp Strat at a smaller healthcare co (current). 600 was my first try so I still have time to get it up as well.

I’ll likely have an interview early next week. The recruiter says it’ll be an introductory call with the co-lead of the firm’s privacy practice group, planning for 30 min or so. I’m a third year and this would be my first lateral so looking for advice on what I should know or ask for during the interview. Very sad bc I’ve remained in the city during the pandemic, but my parents live in North Jersey and there’s no way to justify paying rent if I don’t need to commute.
