Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.

Try and get the pay up and find out about career growth opportunities.
Are you positive you can't get that at KPMG? How guaranteed are you to get these opportunities at Motorola? I agree with @A1
Sounds like they're about to chop up their businesses and sell them off on the news hat blackberry isn't building anymore phones. Could be a clusterfuck
PwC1 Motorola sold the phone business to google years ago, solutions is the radio business
Hmm, I wonder what their move is then if they're hiring internal M&A resources. I don't think it's for nothing
There are two businesses. Before selling Moto (the phone business) to Google, Motorola split into 2 - Motorola Solns (where his offer is) and Moto (which is now part of Lenovo and struggling.). Solutions may not be a bad call, but understand the pipeline.
Industry experience doesn't hurt in terms of both relationships (future jobs, future clients) and experience (war stories that demonstrate you've actually done "real" work and not just consulted)
You have to like what Motorola solutions does, heavy on gov contracting, not bleeding edge tech, know people who have gone internal there and left despite high level jobs
OP- what level are you at the Firm and are you IT focused or no?
You'll really leave KPMG for Motorola?! And for same compensation at that?! You sure you can't work with your PML to try and switch service lines? My thoughts it's a downgrade unless you're getting a pay upgrade.
