"Our Iceberg is melting" - it touches almost all of this aspect but in a different way. Very thematic book, I have found pretty useful.

So basically a cheat code to AP level

Most of this would be solved by just inserting yourself into as many networking events as possible to speed dating. I had a colleague go into stand up comedy as a way of improving their comms skills. Worked wonders. No book can teach you this kind of experience

If you use a book to teach you this, it’ll sound fake and people who are good at this will know and it’s becomes so awkward

Interned at PwC this summer (going to be junior this fall), got a return offer for next summer that expires Sep 1st, got an interview with McKinsey approximately mid September and they said that I could expedite if I have competing offers. Does it help or hurt my chances of getting the Mck internship if I expedite and do it ASAP or will there not be enough turn around time in general to get an answer?

Hey KPMG or those who have recently applied for an EA position w KPMG : where is the link for the open EA role on their site? I only saw one that specifically said in DC for Audit...is there another area on that site that I am missing? I’m moving out of my home state/city and am looking for new opportunities since EY will be requiring EAs to return to the office an estimated 2-3 days a week. If anyone knows of other firms hiring please let me know that, too! THANK YOU!!

Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!

Does jumping around jobs (let's say 3 jobs in 4 years) look bad for MBA ?

Imposter Syndrome - help! I just got the best job offer of my life for a client side position. I’m talking a $30k raise. But it is a LOT more responsibility and I can’t help but feel insane imposter syndrome. They are putting a lot of faith in me for this role and it’s a brand new position internally so there is a lot of pressure to do well. It has me questioning all my qualifications… I recognize there are things I can bring to the table but there is a lot I have to learn in this role.

Hey all - I got an awesome new job Accenture in the applied intelligence practice as a consultant. I am also doing my MBA part time at a T15 school. The MBA exit salary is on average 150k for consultants in my program. I was hoping that when I finish my MBA, I would be able to ask for a raise to match my salary to what those MBA folks normally get. Is there a way for me to request that in ACN? If so, how open are leadership to that conversation?
