I have 9+ yrs experience in .net development.I have offer with softura (19.5 LPA including variable) and qburst ( 21.5 LPA fixed).
Both are providing WFH.

Could anyone tell which has good work life balance?

Has anyone here participated in the year long remote year program? My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small. Curious to hear from people at companies who have done it before and if there were any issues from a tax or payroll perspective. Trying to get the formal approval from my company before officially signing up, advice welcome!

What types of work accommodations can help people with ADHD? I am starting to believe 35+ of having not managed my ADHD has really negatively impacted me in career growth etc. I'm realizing a lot of things about myself are because of the ADHD. I want better for myself and family but 1. I don't enjoy the same things forever 2. Imposter syndrome and RSD make me believe it's acceptable to start over in new places at low salaries. 3. Typical college won't work for me. 4. I also can't relocate.

When did you know your firm wasn't right for you? I'm not sure if it's just the stress of being a new attorney with a family or if my job isn't the right fit. I work in civil litigation and am consistently below my billables. I can't stay late because my kids need me and I can't work on the weekends because I have to maintain my house and take care of my kids. I'm being constantly told to work harder, stay later, etc but it's not practical. Or am I not approaching this with the right mindset?

I feel like working from home has been the death of my dating life. I used to at least go on 4 dates a month, and I was casually seeing a guy for a while. Post covid, I love my work-life balance but I'm never out. I can't meet people sitting at my desk, and I have no local coworkers to pull me out of the house for happy hour.

I've got through the Technical Round of TCS. Before the HR Round, they are verifying my experiences. While doing that, they came to know that I joined and opted out of TechM in February 2022- in less than 8 days. Now, TCS is demanding for the relieving letter from TechM while TechM is asking for the recovery amount of 15k. I'm currently unemployed and not sure what I should do. I'm looking forward to work for TCS. Can I get rid of the recovery and get the relieving letter?

I attended the interview more than a month back following which I was asked to submit all docs and the HR called saying that everything is positive and I should expect a client interview in the coming week itself. But no communication since then.

I have resigned from my previous company without any offer in hand just 10 months after joining due to its toxic work culture and I couldn't find a job for 6 months. Got rejected by many companies due to the 6 months gap and the new company I joined took me just based on my interview performance and offered only a 10% hike on my previous salary. Now one of my friends joined the same role in the company with a 40% hike. Can I ask HR for more salary now?
