So that's how much a PwC Manager gets
Agree with D2. When I was interviewing last year for Senior Associate roles at PwC, p was offering me a higher base than the banks. I was shocked but the consulting base is nothing to be frowned upon.
That's specific. I would see if you can get an industry job in cyber security. Also check the website Payscale. It might give you some ideas and is relatively accurate.
The only industry tech that pays that much would be traditional tech (Google, MSFt) or software sales, or VC. How technical are you?
The old golden handcuffs
Even Microsoft doesn't pay that much base. With stock and cash bonuses, you can exceed 220 though.
You can go to finance industry
If you came from industry you may be offered more.
Op also think about respect and partner track. Tech respects engineers more and no partner track.
PwC1 speaks truth. I did 6 years at a large dod engineering firm. Only their engineers get promoted. You can't move up. Wait for a CTO slot at a mid level company or stay where you are
Ditto that.
What year manager are you?
P4 banks were offering me $115 k max, and in two situations, I prepped for the interview with a recruiter and they said they were holding off interviews because they restructured their strategy team or some such bs. This year they are doing even worse.
P4 Senior Associate?!
Sr associates top out at 118K on the new model
OP: is this amount based on your expected hike?
Damn boi. Thanks
This was last year, before cohorts were introduced.
Promo'd last year. Currently in 2nd year. Didn't get a bump this year due to cohort model. just looking to jump ship to a reasonable role is all.
