I’m currently working in social media, internal communications and content creation at a real estate firm. A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.

It’s now September and I’m still looking for a new role. I feel like each passing day speaks to an employment gap, which may deter future employers. I’ve been taking an online data analytics in the meantime to pass the time. Any advice on this topic would be helpful!
