Hi,
I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.
Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

I’ve been mostly in consulting the past 25 years, leaving a couple of times to help found startups (including now).
I’m very happy with my career, and it was exactly what I thought and hoped it would be. I love to grow and learn from really talented and smart mentors. Consulting has allowed me to grow as fast as I was able to, and to choose to work with mentors I found who were much better in one or more areas than I was. It allowed me to make a lot of money and develop a skillset that would always give me a plan B if things didn’t work out at the firm I was with.
I never made P/P/MD, but the path was available to me. I found as I got closer and learned what being a PPMD was like that I really didn’t want the job, mostly due to having a family and wanting to spend more time with my wife and kids.
If I could go back I’d choose consulting again, no question.
I'm not happy. Companies do not treat us well enough and the payoff is not enough. We deserve to have more free time and personal time to actually enjoy our lives.
I’m 2 years in and my only complaint is that I’ve been bounced around on different projects with completely different groups. When we talk about associate responsibilities I’ve got those down, but I wish I could remain in one area (I.e. strategy, my current group) and start to develop more than surface level knowledge.
