At engineering-first orgs it’s “skunk works”, but non/less technical sides of this “Spec Ops” genre need formality and attention…starting a list (role/team or company).

What does it take to switch into a Sale Engineer role? I started my career in tech consulting and then switched to solutions engineering, but not at all on the Sales side of things. I remember working sales when I was in highschool and I loved the rewarding feeling of landing a customer.
