I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
What are some of the top boutique HR consulting firms (talent strategy, organizational culture, organizational development)?
Considering an offer from Proskauer in its L&E department. Anything I should be aware of before accepting? Poor culture, any hostile or particularly unfriendly and demanding partners? From my research everything seems on the up and up. Any insight is appreciated.
I feel like I’m trapped in the middle of 2 cultures and I don’t fit in anywhere. I’m a 26 year old male who grew up in the US since the age of 4. I held onto my culture. I am actually just as culturally aware of “Indian” things as someone who may have grown up in India. For example, my Hindi sounds like I haven’t once stepped out of Delhi. I listen to Indian music (the Independent rap scene) I’m into Bollywood movies and some of the newer Indian TV shows (Mirzapur/Inside Edge). (Cont)

Most companies try to deal with Burnout by throwing money at it with wellness programs or vacations. What happens when people come back from their programs or vacations? They are back to the same situation that led to their Burnout in the first place. Companies need to fix the work culture of their leadership.
Need advice. I’m North Indian and have been dating a South Indian for the last 2 years (we’ve known each other for almost 3). We’ve gone on many vacations and get along well. I’ve met her parents and they’re comfortable with me. However, I’ve brought her to my home and my parents refuse to let me date or see her anymore because unfortunately, she’s not the same culture. What do I do? I love her, but don’t want her to live a life where she wouldn’t feel accepted…
Anyone work at GM? How’s the culture? Expecting an offer soon in strategy for new ventures
ACN fish (or any experience consulting fish): what's the process of getting rolled off a client engagement 3 months early. Am on a staff aug and it's terrible. I've flagged to leadership in the past that the role doesn't align with my skills but nothing changed. I would rather quit than stay here if they don't get me off but it's so unclear if that's even an option. Any advice? For context: I'm an experienced hire and been here a little longer than 9 months so don't know the rules yet

Moved to a non hub city during the pandemic (Charleston, SC). Anyone seeing difficulties landing new positions in the market because they aren’t near a hub? I’m willing to travel for client work so I didn’t think it would be an issue, but some companies are still hesitant despite being largely virtual.
