There is a huge divide on our team. The managers and up lead the team behind closed doors and then micromanage the staff and seniors based on what they decide. It has made the staff and seniors very unhappy where multiple have already left the firm and the others are considering it.

Is there a positive and proactive way I can help modify team culture or have many of you seen people try to no avail?

I recently left a small agency where I wore many hats, mostly planning and buying across multiple channels for several smaller brands. I just joined a very large agency as a channel specialist and while I’m working on bigger campaigns and making more money, I can’t help but wonder if it’s a demotion or if I made the wrong move. The benefits and culture feel right, I’m just concerned about the work itself. Looking for some advice to help ease my mind.

I’ve been working for a small investment firm for about a year and am having some issues with my boss. We have a weekly check-in but he’s ALWAYS 2-3 hours late, or skips the meeting altogether without warning. He also never replies to any of the emails I send. I already spoke with him about these issues, but things haven’t really changed. I really like the work I do but I’m starting to feel frustrated about the situation. Any advice? What should I reasonably expect from a junior?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.

Recently on 15th September , status in ibegin changed from evaluation in progress to evaluated
