Thinking about long term career outlook. Currently a Manager in a HC practice at a Big 4, but most of the exits I've seen/that are in my network are more finance/ops backgrounds so not something I have the skill set for. Feel like a glorified PM with some functional experience but completely under qualified for the jobs I know others have pivoted to. Anyone had success with a similar background? Even before the market hit the shitter?

For me a typical day looks like this
9 am- sign in and check emails
930-11 : look for a new job
11-2 lunch and nap
2-3 : sometimes meetings, mostly begging people for billable work
3-4:30 - proposal work if I have it or more job hunting
5-9pm family time and dinner
10-3am - netflix, videogames, cry myself to sleep

I am currently a Senior Consultant in KPMG Australia’s human capital advisory function - however I have been recently offered a role with Accenture Australia’s human capital advisory function as an ‘Associate Manager’ with a 15K salary bump and an enticing bonus structure - with some very cool clients that they mentioned to me in their interview round. The issue is, my KPMG Partner has mentioned that I *may* be up for promotion nxt July. I am so stuck, not sure whether to take it or not.

I do not like HR work, should I be aligned to HC? I’ve mostly worked on process design on large transformations and do not feel like I need to be an HR guru in order to understand the business process
