According to California Law, employers must pay unused vacation. Each year, we are given 33 days of holidays, no accrual. I was just laid off and my employer only paid half of my vacation because it’s mid year. Is this legal?

In hibob it says I had 32.5 days accrued.

Working at a company and they can’t seem to hold on to their female, black and people of color employees. I blinked and 3 of the people who were in my onboarding class were either fired or they left. Let's talk dust collection. So I was under the impression that dust collection would clean up a lot of the sawdust. Right now, I'm using a shop vac. Currently, anything that doesn't get directed out the dust collection port piles up. Is that normal? Should I get a second shop vac?

For example, was belt sanding 100 stamp blocks. Stopped every 20 or so to clean up dust pulling up at edge of sander.
