Hi Guyz,
Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?
I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

What does your research experience entail? If in the academic sense, you're already way overqualified for the stats aspects of product work
Do you actually need it to get a better job?
Then definitely don’t do it. A mentor of mine who’s wildly successful told me not to get another degree unless you need it for your job. The only thing that will happen is you might be able to skip a level or two at lower levels. I quickly rose in my company with just a bachelors and am ahead of people with PhDs. If you need the degree to get the job you want then that’s a different story. It’ll just be counted as an extra year of experience and you’ll have all that debt and miss those years of income.
OMSA is designed to be done while working- or at least many people do so while on the job. no reason to quit just to do this program specifically.
