EY recruiting is such a mess. Applied and did a pre-recorded video interview, heard nothing for like 3 weeks. Then I get a random call saying they liked me and would I be available to attend an interview the following day. I say yes but never receive an email or additional details. Call back the number and it goes to voicemail. The following week I get a rejection email. Just so frustrating EY

Everyone seems to hate each other
Don't do it . Lol
^he knows what's up. Also, kpmg gave steaks out. Deloitte gave Google homes/alexas out. EY gave me nothing. I want my steak 😤😤
Don’t do it!
Having worked at EY over 10 years and now with KPMG I can tell you for sure I couldn’t be happier to have switched over to KPMG. The firm, our leadership and most importantly our culture is truly amazing. Far surpasses anything EY ever had

Mindless comparing to financial audit?
Mindless checkbox work? lol plz tell me you're in audit working twice as many hours as us Tech Risk folks, and for less pay...
Not worth. Just go industry. Never jump from one B4 to another.
EY7 I think they're doing it wrong. I'm 100% utilized and have no "bench time" but I like that part of it. I work 40 hour weeks year round, only thing that changes is what I put in GT&E. I've never had a mandatory Saturday or dinner in the office, whereas audit has that shit all the time. Maybe it's not like that everywhere but in my office Assurance works a ton more than us.
IT Risk Assurance
@Assurance Staff 1, why?
Btw it just renamed to technology risk. Which office/region? Im in the west
@Op - will vary by city and team to an extent, but highly team focused in good way.
ITRA guys seem cool enough, but I couldn't handle that level of mindless checkbox work
Not bad but depends on what region you want to go to, some are better than others
Ey 6 to be fair most audit work is mindless, but at least we get paid more to do it
EY6, I’ve been in both ITRA and Audit. Most ITRA folks are at 110% full utilization and have never seen a day of their career on the bench. Auditors go home at 4:30 6 months out of the year. ITRA for sure works a heck ton more than Audit.
I haven’t heard anything good about it in the northeast but idk about other regions
