This is my first post here. Does anyone know of remote sales positions or sales manager positions that are offering 80k starting. I’ve been a sales manager for the past 3 years and our company recently was sold to a bigger division. They’ve changed our pay structure so substantially that I’m going to be taking a 30k pay cut this year. The company is all about numbers and not about people. At this point I’m just looking for a change and hoping to acquire a work from home position. TIA

I’m not naive or fresh out of law school, but I’m at a point where I’m saying to myself “Why can’t I have it all?” I’ve been offered a job for more pay and less hours and I keep thinking to myself, what’s the catch? I know people will say no promotion potential or that’s not how it works…but what if it could? What if you make yourself valuable by still setting your boundaries? Why would we resent someone who has that opportunity?

I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating. I receive only a $1k bonus per year. Is my compensation fair? My last insurance defense gig was $75k.

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up.
