It won’t let me edit it. 🤷♀️ We just love her so much and she’s been with us since she was 8wks old. 😢

Aww—it will be tough—but your vet is right—she will tell you. Just give her the best life you can now! It’s a gift.
So sorry that your pup’s having a tough time…
Has your vet suggested pain meds to manage her arthritis?
I just found out last week that my 16 yr pup has lung cancer. The oncologist said he’s not a candidate for surgery nor biopsy/ct to get info on his cancer type and spread (because they all require putting him under general anesthesia). So we’re under palliative care now. Having said that, she offered a monthly injection (like a doggie nerve blocker) and galliprant to manage his arthritis. Since on this combo, he’s more back to normal now.
Is pain management something you want to check out with your vet to ease your pup’s quality of life?
Thank you so much! Your comments mean a lot and I really appreciate you.
Our beagle let us know when it was time for her to cross the rainbow bridge. Our vet came to our home to assist her. Hardest decision for anyone to make. I will keep your pup and family in my thoughts and prayers.
Yes you’re right; it is one of the hardest things to go through and I’m sure not our last. Our last lab we had to put down at 10yrs old cause he was bleeding internally. Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words.
My thoughts are with you. My yellow lab recently turned 8. She is still active, playful, exuberant as labs typically are, but I too am reminded that she is getting older and one day she will be gone. Turn every day into a special memory and treasure the present. That’s all we can do.
Thank you so much!
