I need some advice. I'm in transition to new company but the HR moved my joining date after I resigned.
They said that the formality (i9 for H1b) is not completed for which they gave green light before.
Do you think I should get compensation from them since I'm jobless for 2 weeks because of their mistake?

Accenture gave me offer letter after two months without any salary discussion. There is a count down in Accenture portal to accept offer within 7 days. I got a call from HR on the day I received offer letter and she told not to accept the offer and she will call me next day to discuss about it. But its been 5 days now they are not responding to my calls and mails.
Should I accept the offer now ? Will they negotiate the package after accepting?

You should look the median salary instead. Median is usually used in compensation analysis instead of average.

Use median.
You should also make an analysis previously to see if there are outliers that may be skewing your results.
Not to over complicate but additional data is important. Total compensation is another metric that could be considered. IE median medical benefit contributions
Check average, median and mode.
Also I would recommend you to look at these numbers across levels and job families.
