Long term and maybe short term comp impacts. You're more vulnerable to being cut and have to justify yourself plus funding annually. Different type of politics to contend with as well. Great work life balance though.

I did. It's great. Certain roles, like Greenhouse and CAM, still have quite a bit of opportunity to be client facing without the same type of grind.

I know a lot of the leadership for that function. They are great people. Don't think you can go wrong, just have an exit plan.

The opportunity that is available would allow me to focus on the areas that I want to grow in the most. The pay seems like it will cap out a lot earlier, but couldn't I just transfer back to External once I developed the skills I wanted to or is that difficult to do? On the plus side, I can be remote 100% if I want to be.

What about bonuses, Amex card, paid certifications, training opps, being involved in recruiting? Do I have to give up all those things?

I was given a promotion and raise in March of this year and at the time was very appreciative. However, since then I’ve learned that because I was already underpaid the raise I received still has me at a lower salary than others in my role. Is there a way to bring this up now or do I wait until next annual reviews and raises?

I'm here looking for help, suggestions and ideas....My little brother moved to the USA and graduated with a degree in Physics and Math this past June.
