When should a stub start getting worried about not having much work and low billable hours?
I’ve asked for work but no luck. I know they say this is normal for a stub but when should I start getting worried and consider looking for exit options? Fyi, I like my practice group, so I don’t want to change to a different group within my firm, hence would have to lateral, if I have to. Also, other co-1st years are churning in high hours.

Hi everyone. I'm pretty early in my career (just over 1 YOE) & not really enjoying my current role as a Consultant/Developer because of the type of projects I get combined with some mobility issues. However, I'm really interested in technical program management or project management and I'm looking for any advice on how to get there bc I've been applying, but can't even seem to get a call back.

I interviewed with a top big law firm last week for a Senior Project Manager role. I felt fairly good and confident post the interviews. Sadly I was not given the offer. I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do.
