Acn1 - really? What's your source for that? Not buying it.
ACN2 isn't it odd that the white guys who haven't traditionally created inclusive cultures are now breaking up groups formed by those excluded, because white guys want a seat at the table. Diversity groups have never excluded people, those in the majority that care enough to be involved have found ways to get involved.
OP - many many aspects of our culture(s) are odd!
In the spirit of transparency - 2 years ago I applied to join a Disability focused group. Thought it would be useful to engage with others who sometimes need to have accommodations made for whatever reason. I was told that there was "... no need for 'allies' in the group...". I'm a Caucasian male, who also happens to be completely deaf in one ear and 95% deaf in the other... basically - you hear there is "something" just nothing discernible.
I'd like to think I'm a tolerant guy who works on a merit basis.

It's about being inclusive - not identifying anyone as "special" - and all round meritocracy...
ACN is not doing the same. We are shifting towards BRGs.

The head of Deloitte's inclusion program is an Indian woman. Reading her bio, it is believable and likely this was her initiative.
A2 - I am sorry you had that experience - please Follow the US Disability ERG - if you comment in the stream with hashtag #fishbowl I will find you
A3-Business resource groups
Uhh yeah we are, it was mentioned in the Strategy town hall.
A3 - no worries... I'm so over it! Honestly, the ERG is good for people who need it - and frankly, I don't. Fact is, the days of ERGs are numbered.
