My net worth is positive as of last week! 70K undergraduate debt and 2 years and 3 months out!

like

Very impressive. 37k left on my mortgage. Let's get it

like

Yes A1, D1, and EY1! Keep the Monday motivation going!

like

Nice! My brother did ~$30k a year as well living in a slightly cheaper city -- once you finish paying them off it's like getting a huge raise! With student loan interest rates as high as they are, those are definitely worth paying off fast -- my mortgage, on the other hand, is probably better off paying off slowly

like

Impressive!

like

120k in 5 years is doable. I am now paying ~30k a year

like

Nope, unfortunately I'm being pretty aggressive so I don't have a lot of savings. But is there a point in saving when you have a loan at hand? Anyway this is what I've done for a year coz I am single and comfortable. Let's see how it goes.

like

@D1 yeah makes sense

like

@D1, does this allow for a savings or do you empty your account into your loan payments every month?

I still have 50k in debt but have > in stocks / ETFs

My student loans that are outstanding are all 3.6% and below. During the same time period my returns pre tax in market are at around 8.5

Hi background in audit and soc compliance now working for a non-public firm but delivering support to the auditors. Being that I am new I am still learning all the processes however cannot find a single process narrative. In order to better my experience performance I have attempted to find some type of structure.

Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.

Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
