Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).
Anyone heard about LSC?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Depends of role. What role?
What level, how many yoe and what is your comp?
I am not in A&I but work with an A&I SM. Culture is great. In general pay is great. WLB depends on the role - I’d say great in A&I.
You’ll probably be offered $110k but depends on your experience.
Don’t know about WLB, but my interview experience made me exit the process. My last interview was with a director. She seemed so disinterested and like she didn’t want to do this and like terse responses and no warmth. I can’t comment on how true that is of the overall culture.
