It helped me to learn to be mindful of how I actually felt after soothing with food. 9 times out of 10, I actually felt worse afterward if I stopped to think about the physical sensation. We just don’t often stop to have that awareness, especially if we’re doing something else while eating. Try really tuning into physical sensations after the next time you de-stress with food, and you might want it less the next time. It worked for me!

Why you trying to find replacement? For me it’s food and working out (sometimes talking to friends)
Aw that sucks OP. If I may offer some suggestions: be a bit more selective now (for example I love love love carbs but cutting back recently), try to get your body more active which helps your mental health and physics health —> also feel more comfy eating and be happy lol.
