Slalom Consulting this might be a total long shot, but I recently finished the interview process with slalom and they gave me a *verbal* contingent offer for an incoming contract. However, I just found out I might have to relocate to Boston soon. I would love to stick with slalom as the goal company, but wondering if I could talk to the recruiter about transferring my application to the Boston office? Any advice? TY!

I don't feel like working today.
Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

18 days of PTO all inclusive + 1 extra day/year of tenure upto 25 days. No sick days
No travel (although you might have to go to burbs during normal times). Great culture, wlb top notch, smart people, interesting work. Upwards mobility is getting better- recently rolled out a new career framework. Raises are around 3% avg. But salary in $/hrs worked pretty good compared to Big 4
My buddy has worked there for a few years. He says the culture is great and good, smart people work there; however, upward mobility and salary increases are nonexistent. He is of the mentality “I work to live, not live to work.” So it works for him.

Philly is a really legit office. GM used to run healthcare nationally for Accenture and recruited serious leadership talent.
Made my Slalom office leadership look like a bunch of scrubs
Yes, zero travel, although when we go back to the office you may be driving around town quite a bit depending on your market and practice. Up to you to determine if that's better or not.
Culture is great overall, but can also be market specific. I'm having a great time, but I can't speak to Philly specifically.

Really depends on the market/office. I was in a regional role there and each office is completely different vibe.
I was a manager at ACN before joining Slalom and i didn’t have the best experience. Ton of boring staff aug projects, beef between markets in revenue splitting, had an insane commute to a local client, leadership wasn’t the best, etc. Your miles may vary.

Yup I just left and my jump in TC was something I would have never gotten from Slalom.
Salary ? Manager level at Big 4.
