Thoughts on submitting a cover letter or not when applying to jobs?

Hi ZS folks, I have an offer for a Business Technology Solutions Associate role at ZS. I wanted to know if there's room for negotiation, considering I have another offer and also considering the cost of living and student loans. Can anyone share some insights about BTSA comp and negotiation? The principal did mention that I did well in the interview when they called me. My profile: BS in CS, MS in Business Analytics, Location: Princeton. Comp: Base: 85k, Sign on: 7k Relocation: 4k. Please help.

Why is it so difficult to make the next career move within your OWN company. I have over 7 years of experience across multiple departments and yet an external company is more willing to give an interview to select roles than your own home company for the same role internally!!

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
