Engineering is fine but not network engineering as it restricts the scope of growth. Go for threat hunter as its a highest privileged role in all the security teams. Consider network engineering as 5% of security where as threat hunter as 70% of the exposure in terms of security and growth perspective. Don’t restrict your self to network there is lot more. Pay wise you will see the difference in between the 2 roles
What about relatively smaller companies like sentinelone?
it always depends on thr company u join and what is their growth criteria.....research b4 u join a new org.
