PwC: Associate 2-3 years, Senior Associate 2-4 years, then Manager. So on average I would say 2.5+3. So manager by 28? (Out of undergrad)
Yeah most ppl is 3 years, I've seen some 4 and a very rare 2. The trick is finding a role after having 2 years at level where you're leading people. Even 1 person is good enough
Also one friend of mine came from IBM, they gave him 4 or 5 years at level and got promoted to manager after 1 year. He was leading one analyst to get Sig Above
