Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.
Please help with embedded and prog ques for these interviews.

1 year of experience is tough, but a few things to point out are what you’re willing to leave consulting for, such as 20% bump to justify the move. Also, do research as to what the position is worth and say “I’m speaking with multiple companies and the comp range is x to y” if u have a special skill set and certifications, you can state that they demand a certain. Amount in comp.
If you are moving industries there prob won’t be too much negotiations... you will virtually be starting as fresh meat. Make sure you compare benefits including travel per diem, health care costs, vacation, etc. You may be able to wiggle some numbers but doing that, but I suspect that if you are switching industries it’s not for the money so be careful not to scare the new firm solely for money ...
