How do I breakup with my therapist? I’ve yet to find a new one but I don’t feel like I gain anything from these appointments and I dread going and paying for the sessions

Just tell them you would like to pause on therapy for a bit. Email them now. Im like you said, it’s your time and money. They won’t be offended

They shouldn’t be offended. The goal is to help guide you to a better place via your sessions. Giving feedback on what you believe the barrier is can be helpful for your therapist; as well as they can possibly assist you with finding someone of a better fit through referrals and/or resources.

Don’t schedule a follow up or schedule and cancel later if you are feeling bad.

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. Is it normal to have let down just on one side? I am 1 week postpartum. On day 4, I had to rush to ER for some@severe pain and was stuck there for 5 hours. During this time I had let down just on my right breast. I assumed the lefy one didn’t have any because I had placed a medella soreness gel pad there. Today again j was sleeping and woke up to feed baby. RealIzed I had let down again only on right side despite more having any gel pad. Is this normal? Should i be worried?

I just have to say that signing up for therapy (and finding my current therapist) was one of the best decisions I made in my life. I’m learning a lot about myself and how to live a happier life. Less than a year before I can retire and not sure I can make it. The stress at home, work and with the aches and pains of my 54 year old body are taking their toll. I wake up every weekday and dread the coming 14 hour day. I live for the bliss of two days off on the weekend when I can attempt to just ignore everything until Monday morning.

So my bipolar dad got declined for a mortgage because disability gets shut off in < 3 years when he turns 65. So now he wants me to co-sign for him. Between housing markets being up, my concerns over his money mgmt, and concerns over tying up my credit there’s no way I can say yes. He sold his house before being approved for the new one he put in for (against my advice). I know he won’t understand and will take this personally, and the family will probably take his side. Gonna be a long week…

Hello, I'm new to glass door but thought this was pretty neat and 1 am looking for advice so why not. work for an animal shelter and love love love the job, however I was diagnosed with complex PTSD, chronic anxiety, and depression, a couple months after getting the job and my mental state has deteriorated more and more since, I also have IBS due to anxiety and here more recently I ended up in the er and was given medication that made me throw up so much I now have an abdominal hernia.
