Contact them and see. What’s the worst that can happen-you realize you’re not a fit and move on.
You couldn’t pay me enough to work in a culture like Uber’s. Toxic.
If you are a female, based on what I have read, you should think very carefully before making such a move. They are trying to fix the culture, but I am not sure of their progress thus far.
They were valued at 70 billion when VC money was throwing everything at it. They then got a downround with SoftBank. Do you still think theyre worth 70 billion? The equity doesn't mean much.
OP do you really think it’s so easy to develop in a positive way in a dumpster fire? Think again. You can do better!

P2 once any other company comes out with self driving cars - and it's no gaurantee that Uber will be first - then they're screwed. And LOL are you seriously doubting that the culture is not a huge PR nightmare for them? Only worse ones may be Cambridge Analytica and the Trump administration.
Male here, but taking the points about culture seriously regardless. Was thinking about skill development, career growth and general upside as they're offering equity
Ipo in 2019. Worth considering if the environment is changing?
