Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.

I, too, was waitlisted by WashU. I’m into my 3rd year of practice and they still haven’t rejected me.

Even if you get off the wait list, you won't get any scholarship. Better to go to a school with some funds imo.
Better to not go at all, save those funds, invest, grind leetcode, get into bigtech and then flex on us miserable drones!

The better place to look is Toplawschools.com But they will also tell you to retake the LSAT and apply again for $$

Wait lists are long and new openings are few at top schools. Wait list is more of courtesy, a select few do get off of it.
