So I'm in a startup (not Deloitte) and given current economic environment I'm looking to after 6 months now. got a call from naukri for an analytics firm which has ~10L for a role on most websites (ambitionbox). but after discussion basis my current ctc she's ready to offer 20-21 rest depending on interview.

little bit lost here whether she was kidding or what? any experiences on this new method of ghosting/faking by HRs😅😅🤨🤨

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?

My 1st Job was in Jan 2017 as an junior engineer, 1st month salary was 23k & i gave that money to my mother 🥺.
